Christ in the Centre

Many thanks to the thousands of people who attended Christ in the Centre 2010 – which many of the audience rated as the most dramatic and compelling event ever.

For a report on this year’s event please check the News section; a picture gallery of the 2010 event will be added to this website shortly.

This year – for the first time – the entire event was signed for the hard of hearing. This service proved both popular and highly appreciated by those who used it, and was introduced at the suggestion of an audience member. If anyone else has an idea they would like to contribute please contact one of the organising committee (details in panel to the right of this page).

This year we have again worked to a very tight budget and sought to rationalise spending wherever we can, while still presenting a drama that brings the true message of Easter to the streets of Leicester.

But presenting an event of this scale and complexity does cost money! If you feel you could contribute towards the cost of the events, please send donations to: Canon Barry Naylor, Chairman of the Organising Committee, The Cathedral Centre, 21 St Martins, Leicester LE1 5DE. Cheques should be made payable to “Christ in the Centre”. If you are a UK taxpayer please complete a Gift Aid Form, so your contribution is of maximum value to this important event.
